To Whom It May Concern: I saw Alfonso Caldera dance at a club in Vancouver. He was sharper than anyone on the floor and I immediately knew I wanted to learn from him. Alfonso Caldera of Bravo Dance Company is one of the best instructors for salsa I have ever had. His passion for helping people become great dancers, is evident by his willingness to spend hours on end ensuring students are sharp and are fundamentally sound. His Bravo styling gets noticed by everyone in clubs and competitions! I have been a salsa student for over 3 years and have had many people comment on how much better; more confident and sharper my dancing has become not to mention the creativity of the combos I do, thanks to what I have learned with Alfonso Caldera. The Bravo style has been admired in both Toronto Ontario and Vancouver BC. Joining Bravo Dance Company was the best decision I ever made as an enthusiastic Amateur Salsero. What makes Alfonso Caldera stand out is the intricacy of his combos and his willingness to allow students to practice in all his studios by registering to one at no additional cost to the student as this former world champion truly believes the best way to get better is practice! His salsa is artistic, stylish and challenging - especially his foot work. He motivates you to be your best and he brings out the best in you. His class is amazing and it's also a great workout.
